Conwy and Denbighshire Mental Health Advocacy Service works in partnership with the people it supports, takes their side and is committed to providing an efficient and effective advocacy service to all its clients.

To ensure people experiencing mental health problems have access to a free, independent and confidential advocacy service.

Mission Statement

Is it CADMHAS’s mission to:
  • speak up alongside mental health service users
  • to promote independence and empowerment
  • to ensure individuals are able to challenge discrimination,
    unfair treatment and to safeguard their individual rights
  • be service user led

Confidentiality

CADMHAS believes that everyone who uses our service has the right to confidentiality. We have systems in place to ensure that all information of a confidential nature is respected and protected.

These exceptions are: if you give us information relating to a child being abused; if you give us information that leads us to believe that your life, or the life of someone else is at risk, or if you give us information relating to an act of terrorism. In these circumstances we would always tell you about the disclosure and to try to gain your co-operation.It is only in exceptional circumstances that we will breach our confidentiality agreement with you.
